Attendee Checklist

Whether it's your first time at COTERIE or you've been attending for years, we have compiled an important list of tips and tricks to make the most of your event experience.

Before the Event

ONE

Register yourself – and your team – so you receive all necessary event information well in advance of the event.

TWO

Book your hotel and travel with COTERIE at a discounted rate exclusive to our exhibitors and attendees.

THREE

Strategize your purchasing plan by identifying inventory or technology gaps and setting a budget. Pro tip: plan to visit at least 10 new vendors and attend a few community conversations to see what’s new and diversify your offerings.

FOUR

Get inspired and set discovery goals by reviewing the exhibiting brand list and following @coterie_show on Instagram and LinkedIn. Pro tip: if you’re looking for something specific like sustainable brands, review the brand list to identify the right vendors for you to visit while on-site.

FIVE

Paper badges will be onsite to ease your experience. More information on badges to come.

SIX

Pack a comfortable pair of shoes and be sure to bring a notebook.

While You're On-site

ONE

Start early so you aren’t rushed. The event opens at 9AM – if you’re pre-registered (which we strongly encourage) simply print your badge on-site and scan right into the hall to begin shopping.

TWO

Walk every aisle to ensure you don’t miss any hidden gems that will make your offerings stand out next season.

THREE

Don’t be shy. If you see a busy booth, introduce yourself, and ask what time you should come back.

FOUR

Write orders while you’re at the show to avoid missing out on merchandise while it’s available.

FIVE

Attend a community conversation or networking event while you’re on-site to connect with your industry peers.

SIX

Pro tip: take photos of what you buy so you can easily remember what you purchased and so you can share with your staff post-event. (Remember to ask the vendor first)

After the Event

ONE

Continue the conversation and follow up with any new connections you made at the event.

TWO

Review all orders to make sure your delivery dates and details are correct.

THREE

Follow up to confirm orders details like shipping and timing with your vendors.

FOUR

Place orders with vendors that you may not have placed while on-site.

FIVE

Register for the next COTERIE event to stay ahead of the curve and begin planning your next purchases.
